When I had a look out of the window early this morning, saw some fog becoming thicker and thicker on the streets. Checked the website of MetOffice immediately – luckily, they promised a misty morning between 8 and 9 am. (Hurray!) So I got out of bed, did not care too much about breakfast or getting rid of the residue of my Halloween make-up, grabbed my bike and cycled quickly in the town centre. I was just in time to catch the amazing foggy autumn show. 🙂 Witnessed the first jaw-dropping scene at Midsummer Common when the first rays of the golden lights suddenly found a way to break through the mist, giving a wonderful atmospheric background to the tree silhouettes. Gave myself a little time to enjoy the view, then moved off to be able to take some photographs before the town wakes up… Well, a special group of people were already awake: photographers. 🙂 I met some lovely people this morning and managed to make new friends at the same time. I’d love to thank them for making my day a special one, I really, really enjoyed watching the awakening town together!
