I have already posted my La Palma infrareds, now I’m sharing the colours.
Somehow, I never felt the urge to spend my holiday in a typical holiday place lying on the beach and doing nothing while suffering from the sticky (and stinky…) hot weather. However, my husband was desperate to go somewhere warm this year, preferably to the seaside… So I did my research for a warm place which is not too hot and there’s more to do than just the beach thing. This is how we ended up going to the Canary Islands. Among all of the islands, I found the greenest one, La Palma the most appealing. And I have to say, honestly, this was one of the best holidays in my life! This beautiful island has so much to offer: volcanoes, black sandy beaches, exciting beachtime while trying to stay alive in the natural pools on stormy days, starlit skies (OMG, so many stars!), the calming scent of pine trees, cute blue-headed lizards by day and even cuter geckos by night, gorgeous plants you just can’t get bored of identifying, yummy food, excellent wines, forests, stunning high peaks, dramatic looking rocky seasides with unbelievable sunsets, DOLPHINS <3 , cute kitties and that coffee, ‘Barraquito’ … We will return to the Canaries – soon. 😉
