Madame Rénarde

Madame Rénarde

I got to know Adri, this exceptionally talented lady when a common friend of us shared one of her posts on Facebook. We started exchanging messages about her post and acknowledged quickly how well we understand each other. I am a big fan of her work – she’s creating beautiful historical gowns – so I asked her if she wanted to have some photos at some point, erhm… maybe, one day in the future. Shortly after my question, she said yes and we arranged our first meeting in March. As the weather was quite chilly and she would have liked to have some pictures of her (indoor) tea gown, we agreed that we should have started searching for a studio. Which costs a fortune… But I wanted those photo session oh so badly, so I tried to come up with a budget friendly solution: ordered a couple of supercheap backdrops and hanged them in front of the curtains in our living room. 🙂 See the results below!

Note: if you do not like spending a lot of time with editing, please, never ever order a cheap backdrop as it will be a huge pain while post-processing…
