We just got to the point when missing the beautiful, fresh, pure white snow is unbearable…
Fortunately, we have good friends in Bavaria, an outdoorsy couple who were more than happy to take us to the nearby mountains for a refreshing winter walk last Saturday. I felt like exploring Narnia as we walked up through the dark forests to a cosy hütte, where I managed to order probably the best Kaiserschmarrn in the world. The path leading back down to the town is actually for sleighing – would be so nice to try it one day! Probably not in the dark… 😉
