Kiev 4 experiment – Part II

Kiev 4 experiment – Part II

Learnt a lot from my previous mistakes with the Kiev 4 vintage camera, I gave it another try. Special thanks to an awesome guy on YouTube. 2 locations this time, Hackney (London) and Matlock (Peak District). Continue reading for my selection.

HACKNEY

My lovely friend, J. lives in and knows a lot about East London. So I asked her to be my guide for a day and she happily accepted my (unusual) request. [Of course, she did, I’ve never met anybody with such a positive attitude like her.] So we met at Liverpool Street Station, around noon. After grabbing a huge falafel wrap in Bell Street, we started our walk towards Shoreditch. Saw some of the ever-changing street arts, a city farm, a park with a huge wildflower field, lots of weirdos, ruins and fancy pubs. Walked along the canals, blablabla, here are some pictures (going to upload the ones taken with the digital cam later):

MATLOCK

Still had a few pictures to shoot on the filmroll and really wanted to try what the camera and the ISO400 Fuji film can do with nature.

Very convincing results, I think I should carry on working with this camera! What do you think? 🙂
